Your routines

A routine is a short checklist Loopency opens for you on a schedule: at the start or end of your working day, at the end of your week, and at the end of the month. It opens on its own when it is due, so there is nothing to start.

Routines open only once your working hours are set, in Settings > Company (or on the setup card).

Where to find them

  • Home: the Routines card in the daily brief lists the open ones, soonest due first.
  • My work: every routine and close you are responsible for, with its deadline.

Routines on Home

Working through one

  1. Open the routine from Home or My work.
  2. The bar at the top shows its checklist. A check Loopency can read from your books ticks itself. For the others, do the check and choose Complete and its name.
  3. If a check is not passed but you have dealt with it another way, write why under Why it is complete anyway and choose Complete anyway. Only the person running the routine can do this, and the reason is kept.
  4. When every check is done, choose Complete, add a note, and confirm.

A routine's checklist

The day, the week and the month

Three closes keep their own records, in Finance:

  • Day Closes (under Payments): at the end of each working day, the day's money is checked and the day is closed with Close the day.
  • Week Reviews (under Accounting): at the end of the week, look back over it and choose Mark reviewed.
  • Period Closes (under Accounting): at the end of the month. See Close the month.

They open on their own and appear in My work. If one passes its deadline, you are told.

Next: Close the month.
