Agents and Needs you

An agent watches part of your business and prepares work for people: a reminder to send, a record to update, a ticket to escalate. Each agent has a role and sees only what that role allows, the same as a person in that role.

Nothing runs until you approve it

What an agent prepares is a proposal. It waits until a person decides:

  • Approve applies it, through the same checks a person's own change goes through: permissions, approval rules and the record's history.
  • Not this time sets it aside.
  • Why shows the reasoning behind it.

Where proposals wait

  • Home shows the first few under Decide in the daily brief.
  • Needs you is the full list of what waits on you.
  • Agents > Proposals lists everything agents have asked to do in your workspace, newest first, with what waits on you at the top.

Open a proposal to see each step it will take. Steps that do the same thing are grouped, so one unusual step does not hide among many routine ones. Some approved proposals can be rolled back from the same page; where one cannot, the page says why.

The Agents page

Agents lists your workspace's agents. Open one to see what it found, what its latest run did, what it may do and when it runs. From there you can:

  • switch it on or off,
  • Run now instead of waiting for its schedule,
  • Ask it a question about its area.

Each module card on Home also has a switch for that module's agent.
