Retail management software

Retail management software: the counter, the stock and the books in one system.

Most small shops run a POS app for sales, a spreadsheet or a second app for stock, and an accounting package the POS feeds once a day, if at all. Loopency’s counter sells from the same stock, customers and books as the back office.

Set up

New software means weeks of setup.

Describe your business

  • In your own words, in any language
  • Loopency suggests the modules that fit
  • Bring your spreadsheets

Catch problems early

The till and the books never agree.

One counter screen

  • Search or scan a product, take payment, print the receipt
  • Split a bill across cash and card or a mobile wallet
  • Every sale is an order, an invoice and a payment in the books

Spot problems

The drawer is counted on paper.

Cash drawer and credit

  • Opening float, pay in and pay out, close counted against expected
  • Sell on account within a credit limit and take payment later
  • Daily sales by product, cashier and payment method

See what's stuck

Shelves run empty before anyone reorders.

Stock and buying

  • Stock below its reorder level raises a purchase requisition
  • The same item cannot be oversold from two tills
  • Several stores, each with its own stock

Automate

You check everything yourself.

AI agents that prepare the work

  • In the same business context as your team
  • They see only what their role allows
  • What an agent prepares waits for a person

Questions

Does the counter work when the internet drops?

Yes. The counter keeps selling from the catalogue kept on the device and sends the sales when the connection is back. A sale the stock no longer covers is shown with the reason, never dropped.

Can I take returns and exchanges at the counter?

Yes, on the Business plan. A return is refunded in cash or kept as store credit, and an exchange spends that credit on the new sale.

Which shops is it for?

Shops that buy stock from suppliers, sell it at a counter and reorder, such as parts, hardware, electronics and apparel stores, from one person to under a hundred. It is not built for cafes or restaurants: there are no modifiers, tables or kitchen printing.

What does it not do yet?

There are no gift cards, loyalty points, automatic promotions or coupon codes, and no barcode label printing. Receipts print through the browser, there is no cash-drawer kick, customer display or scale, and no connection to online stores. The app is in English.

How much does it cost?

A shop of up to 3 people can run on Community, which is free. Business is paid per person, monthly or annually, with a 14-day trial. Current prices are on the pricing page.
